driver and support assistant is a mess in windows 11

i have been struggling with my bluetooth for a while. when i saw there was an update, i immediately went to install it. problem is, it downloads the wrong version. if i manually download and install the newest version, 22.110.2, it says newer version installed. i have 20.100.10.7 installed. this whole system is a huge mess.

EDIT:

oh, and i forgot to mention that in the webpage, it says "Description:
Installs Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® version 22.120.0.", version says "22.100.10.7" and when i install, it says "install 22.120.03". oh my gosh this is a huge mess

In order to better assist you, please provide the following: 


1. What is the brand and model name of your wireless adapter?

2. Are you using a laptop or desktop computer?

3. What is the model of your laptop or motherboard (if is a desktop computer)?

4. Is this the original adapter that came pre-installed on your computer or did you change/install the adapter to this one?   

5. Have you tried to install the driver manually?
