The Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 3168 is not supported on Windows 8*, only 8.1.

You can use the IT Admins package: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27206/Intel-PROSet-Wireless-Software-and-Drivers-for-IT-Admins Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers for IT Admins.

There are several downloads in this link. For the MSI file, you'll need to download the PROSet file (WiFi_20.0.2_PROSet32.zip). For the INF files, you'll need to use the driver downloads instead (WiFi_20.0.2_Driver32_Win8.1.zip, for example)
