Hi, the intel 9560 ngw wifi card in my laptop is not working and I want to change it for another one, I was chatting with chatgpt and he gave me a few alternatives:
1) Intel AX200/AX201
2) Broadcom BCM94352Z
3) Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4A
I want to go for the Intel AX200/AX201, although I don't know whether to choose the Intel AX200 or Intel AX201. These last two versions of wifi cards really are a replacement for intel 9560 ngw?
Information about my MSI equipment:
motherboard: MSI MS 16S1
intel core i7 8565U
Or the best option is to buy another intel 9560 ngw wifi card?
The last question: If my router has wifi 5 connection, there will be no problems with the Intel AX200/AX201? that is, it supports versions prior to wi-fi 6?
Greetings.

Hello, @and_01.
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
It is worth mentioning that Intel does not support wireless integrations (installing a different wireless adapter into your system/laptop). We recommend you speak to the Manufacturer of your equipment for support on wireless integrations and replacement parts to ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements of your country and support. It is important to check for compatibility with the System Manufacturer, as there could be certain cards that will not work with the system.
For more information, read the following article under the title "Regulatory Information Regarding Wireless Hardware Installation or Upgrade."
Regarding your last question, the Wi-Fi 5 router it's an AC router, you shouldn't have issues, however, the performance might not be as expected.
In any case, if after the installation there is an issue, you need to check it out with your System Manufacturer since we don't guarantee the proper functionality of a wireless integration on an OEM system (Original Equipment Manufacturer).
Please, keep in mind that this thread will no longer be monitored by Intel. Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards,
