Hello @ACarmona_Intel

I have the same issue on Arch Linux localhost 6.9.5-arch1-1 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Sun, 16 Jun 2024 19:06:37 +0000 x86_64 GNU/Linux

As you can clearly see, @MohammadEtemaddar is running Linux as well. How on Earth is he supposed to run some Windows utility?

The issue is probably with iwlwifi.

Some info:

Network: Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX210/AX1675 2x2 [Typhoon Peak] driver: iwlwifi
[ 23.859290] iwlwifi 0000:03:00.0: loaded firmware version 89.e9cec78e.0 ty-a0-gf-a0-89.ucode op_mode iwlmvm

Error:

[ 24.563316] iwlwifi 0000:03:00.0: WRT: Invalid buffer destination

Things I've tried:

sudo iw dev wlan0 set power_save off

/etc/modprobe.d/iwl.conf

options iwlmvm power_scheme=1
options iwlwifi power_level=5
options iwlwifi power_save=false

Any help is appreciated! (and the formatting on here sucks too)

I hit the same issue using OpenSUSE Tumbleweed. It appears to be impacting Linux users on rolling distros like Tumbleweed and Arch. I found that with the normal BIOS settings, my laptop (Framework 13) would not find any available networks. If I changed the BIOS wireless setting to Fallback (I think that was the setting) vs. Default, it would find the networks but when attempting to join it would cycle with quick failures in a loop. I had to rollback to a prior kernel snapshot and my wifi is now working fine.

Hello @ACarmona_Intel,

I encountered the same issue on Fedora 40, with a Lenovo Yoga Pro 7.

I'm sending the requested file as well.

In case it helps, I had the exact same issue on Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS with kernel 6.8.0-45-generic and iwlwifi-so-a0-gf-a0-86.ucode. It appears the most recent 89 ucode was not solving anything either but an old one especially iwlwifi-so-a0-gf-a0-73.ucode.zst is solving the issue for me.

The ucode is loading properly, I don't have those "WRT: Invalid buffer destination" errors anymore.

And I was able to configure the wifi.
