killer control center doesn't update

Problem summary

The issue occurs while the installer runs. During the installation process, something causes a stop error (Blue screen of death/Exception error).

Error codes that appeared

  • CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED

  • IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Hi Kittie,

I've seen Bluetooth and wireless in-place updates BSOD. The easiest thing to try is to use Programs and Features and manually uninstall all of the network adapter packages, including Bluetooth. Then open Device Manager and delete the devices if they still are listed, and uninstall the drivers. After a reboot, then install the latest package suite. That resolved my OS crash.
