Hi,
I recently bought my lenovo x1 carbon 3rd generation and already from first start my adapter AC 7265 was not working. I had to disable/enable it to get connected to WIFI. Now everytime my computer restarts I get the same issue and have to go through disable/enable. How can this be fixed? Please help.

Hello andres700,
For connectivity issue like the one you mentioned the first action would be to make sure you are using the most recent driver.
Please contact the http://www.intel.com/support/oems.htm Computer Manufacturer Support and verify if you have the latest driver from Lenovo (probably 18.20). As as second option, you can get the generic version of Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software at: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/83635/Intel-Dual-Band-Wireless-AC-7265 Downloads for Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265.
For further assistance, please let us know the following:
- Operating System version
- Driver version.
- Have you checked if the issue happens with other Wireless networks?

Thanks for posting your problem and giving me a head-start. I am in a very similar situation.
Lenovo Yoga 14 Model 20DM-008UUS
Win 8.1 (not pro)
Intel AC-7265
Driver 17.13.12.1
It reverts to this even after attempting to install 18.20
After every restart I disconnected and have to disable driver and re-enable driver to get unit working. It's getting old.
After re-enable I am able to connect to 2.4 or 5 ghz networks and (so far) I have not had random disconnect issues (like other have reported).
I took a screenshot after latest restart.

It seems I was able to get 18.20.9 drivers to finally stick but after restarting device is still non functional until I disable and re-enable.

Is there a specific issue with the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 driver? I noticed the download link was removed from Lenovo's site. There is no notification or any update to state why. I see the download for the newest driver is still located here. https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/83635/Intel-Dual-Band-Wireless-AC-7265 Downloads for Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265
