Hi!
We recently got most of the basic AMT functions to work properly in our test enviroment including SCCM provisioning, SOL, IDER, remote power on/off etc (with a lot of help from you forum guys!). So now we want to take a step further and try to wake a wireless laptop (wowlan). But then I read in a forum that Intel has dropped that feature in their newer drivers (/message/92318# 92318 http://communities.intel.com/message/92318# 92318)? Is that true and is it a deliberate future strategy from Intel? If so, we really don't need to test this feature any more (we're having difficulties just forcing the wireless network adapter to remain on when the computer is in different Sx states).
PS. We have gotten so far so that the clients can provision a wireless profile through SCCM DS.
Don't know where statement of removal of SW support for WOWLAN came from. You should be just fine if you enable the feature during provisioning.
