derek kelly,

The 802.11n is not a driver. It is a Wi-Fi standard which is supported by the most recent Wi-Fi clients that derives from the IEEE 802.11 which is a set of media access control commonly know also as (MAC) and Physical Layers also known as (PHY) which are specification for implementing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wireless_LAN Wireless Local Area Network or simply (WLAN) computer communication in the 900MHz and 2.4, 3, 5 and 60 GHz frequency bands. They are maintained by thehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Institute_of_Electrical_and_Electronics_Engineers Institute of Electricl and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
