A few years ago, my company purchased the IPP library (version 7.0).
Now,
we want to update current IPP(version 7.0) to latest IPP,
there are some following points need to confirm with you:
1. Is the latest IPP a commercial version and do we need to purchase new license?
2. If we update IPP, does latest IPP support Windows 7/Windows Server 2012?
3. Is latest IPP's deploy license as same as old one ?
Please help us confirm above.
Thank you.

Hi fangjialivico,
Thanks for posting your concern on the forum. Please find the answers (in the same order as the questions) below.
- The Intel® Integrated Performance Primitives is available as a standalone product and also as a component of the Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit (commercial license and) for free. You may refer to the below given End User License Agreements (EULA) for the licensing related information.

- Kindly know, we do not provide guidance on the End User License Agreement and how people use the product. You will have to consult with your own legal department regarding it.
- However, based on your requirement & EULA, you may buy a commercial license of the Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit. Our resellers would be able to assist you better regarding the purchase related concerns. Please visit the below link to find their contact information.
- Kindly note, if a user waits more than a year after your product’s support expiration date, they can no longer extend their support. If they want continued support at that time, they will have to repurchase the product. You may visit the below link for reference.
- Link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/license/end-user-license-agreement.html
- You may visit the below link to find the supported Windows versions for the latest Intel® Integrated Performance Primitives.
- You may refer to the EULA and the below link for queries regarding the license and its licensing details.
Please feel free to let us know if there are any queries or concerns even after going through the above-given information.

Hi Soumya,
Thank you for providing this information.
You said we need to "buy a commercial license of the Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit".
But can we just buy a commercial license of the IPP?
Best Wishes!
