Accessing the MacOS 2023.2.0 Version of OneAPI

Hi there

It has recently been brought to my attention (and somehow flew undermy radar for an unknown amount of time) that OneAPI was going to deprecate MacOS x86 support.

I require an offline installer of the Base toolkit and rendering toolkit for OneAPI on MacOS (64 bit), to ensure that I can recover from the worst case scenario where our MacOS CI/CD servers catastrophically fail. Presently I can only find a link online for the HPC toolkit, albeit from a CI script on a github repo.

I believed that I was being proactive in attempting to back up these installers today, given that the deprecation notice was for 2024, however I didn't expect that the 2024 release of OneAPI would be out in November of 2023... Further, I expected from the deprecation notice of the ICC compiler that the new installers for 2024 would still function albeit for a limited time on X86 MacOS.

In years past, I found older versions of my downloads in the intel registration center, though I do not seem to be able to switch to these now. I've seen extremely unhelpful posts on other threads suggesting that keeping old versions around is not viable, but links under `https://registrationcenter-download.intel.com/akdlm/IRC_NAS/` seem to be valid for quite some time, and I only need the version that was available 3 weeks ago.

I really hope someone can be of aid here and share with me over a DM an official link to the 2023.2.0 version of OneAPI's base toolkit (& preferably also the rendering toolkit), as I have no other recourse. It seems from some other threads some users have been fortunate in this regard, though the optics appear to suggest Intel would rather people target ARM hardware instead which is mind boggling.

Hi Troy, Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit for macOS on x86 is now deprecated and will be discontinued in the 2024.0 release.

For more details please refer the below link:

Please note that Intel® has decided that Intel® oneAPI Toolkits Versions: 2023.1.0 and earlier are not supported anymore. We urge users to upgrade to the latest version of Intel® developer tools. The unsupported versions do not include the latest functional and security updates. These versions are targeted to be removed after a period. Users with active priority support can only access older product versions.

For more information refer to the link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/release-notes/oneapi-supported-product-versions.htm, and scroll down to the Unsupported Product Version.

Intel® oneAPI users with active Intel Priority Support can access older versions via a secure portal you gain access to as part of your support subscription.

I cannot upgrade to 2024 because you do not provide a download link for 2024 for MacOS. You should be at least providing the last available download for that architecture, it makes no sense! It's only a few weeks out of date! I develop on MacOS! The period of time for the deprecation notice was way too short.

Every single time I have to come back to this website to deal with issues with these products just reinforces in my mind the notion I should be moving away from intel products because the support is abhorant an the business practices are questionable, and its entirely unprecedented that intel would take the stance that they would rather people develop for other processors instead of their own, because that is what's happening by not providing a download link.
