I would like to thank you for your support!!

I am still facing a problem in integrating VS with oneabi basekit. According to the provided link: Intel® Compilers compatibility with Microsoft Visual Studio* and...

I can integrate "w_BaseKit_p_2021.2.0.2871_offline" with VS 16.8.2. I tried to install VS 16.8.2 as shown in this figure, but when I started to install basekit 2021.2.0, the installation doesn't start, just showing the background of installations as shown in the attached image and then disappeared.

- OS build on which you are installing the software

--- Windows 10 and OS:19044.2846

- Is the installer an online or an offline package?

--- Offline

--- w_BaseKit_p_2021.2.0.2871_offline.exe

- Version of Microsoft Visual Studio installed along with it's build version

--- Microsoft Visual Studio professional 2019. Version 16.8.2

--- Microsoft .NET Framework Version 4.8.04084

- Other versions of Intel® Parallel Studio XE or Intel® oneAPI already installed on the system

--- I tried first to install Intel® oneAPI 2021, when I was not able to install them. Then I installed Intel® oneAPI 2023, which were installed smoothly. Then, I uninstalled them to try Intel® oneAPI 2021 again and again and again without any success.

- Screenshots of the error screen

--- There is no an error message,  just showing the background of installations as shown in the attached image and then disappeared.

- Installation Log files.

--- I don't find this path. What I found is C:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\oneAPI\Installer

--- Installer is the only folder in Intel folder.

*Thanks for supporting

Hi Mohamed, thank did you choose the Desktop Development with C++ workload during the installation of Microsoft Visual Studio? It is a mandatory step to ensure smooth integration.

For guidance on how to do that, visit: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/guide/installing-microsoft-visual-studio-2019-for-use-with-intel-compilers.html

Mohamed, our investigation show us that on Microsoft* Windows*, the installation of Intel® oneAPI Toolkits versions 2022.1 and 2022.1.2 and standalone components will fail using Microsoft* Visual Studio* 2019 & 2022 version 17.1.x.

There were 2 possible workarounds suggested to our users at that point of time prior to installing an Intel® oneAPI toolkit or component:

This issue has been addressed in the later releases. We suggest you to use the latest toolkits and it should work fine.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Unfortunately, it is required to install these older versions. So, I can not go with these new versions. Please let me explain again the problem.

Now, I already installed MVS professional 2019. Version 16.8.2, but I am not able to install w_BaseKit_p_2021.2.0.2871_offline.exe.

Any suggestions to install this oneabi version?

Thanks

Yes, there is a specific reason. I want to COMPILE Delft3d which were designed based on these specific versions:

MVS 2019 (16.8.2) + Intel oneapi Basekit and HPCkit (2021.2). I tried different versions, but the compilation failed.

I found online some recommendations to extracting the files w_BaseKit_p_2021.2.0.2871_offline.exe and then running bootstraper.exe manually. But even this, it didn't work with me.

I really look forward to get a solution from your side.

Mohamed, could you disable the 3D video acceleration on your system and try the installation with the Intel® oneAPI installer again?
