I have been trying to download the 2024 version of oneAPI for a Linux computer because I need access to the ifort compiler. For some reason, though, selecting the 2024 option in the drop-down menu (indicated in the orange rectangle) on the downloads page has no effect. In fact, selecting any of the options in the drop-down version has no effect (you can see that the version to be downloaded is still 2025.2.0). I have tried this on both a Mac running Safari, and on a Linux computer running Firefox.
How might I be able to get a copy of the 2024 version of oneAPI? I would also be happy to do it via apt, but I could not figure out how to download an older version.
As an aside, none of the buttons below the download link (in the red rectangle) actually seem to do anything...

Hello mhvg1994,
Please be informed that, on our end, we are able to successfully install all versions currently available on the Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit website. We are also able to access all the dropdown options currently available on the website. Please try clearing your browser's cache and cookies, and consider accessing the Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit website in an Incognito window.
Previously, the Intel® Fortran Compiler Classic (IFORT) was a part of Intel® Parallel Studio XE. However, after the transition, both the Intel® Fortran Compiler Classic (IFORT) and the Intel® Fortran Compiler (IFX) are now part of the Intel® HPC Toolkit. Additionally, a standalone version of these compilers is also available.
We would also like to inform you that Intel® announced the deprecation of the Intel® Fortran Compiler Classic (ifort) in November 2023, with plans to discontinue it in late 2024 (link). The last planned version of ifort, 2021.13.0, was released alongside Intel® oneAPI version 2024.2.0 in late June 2024. Following the release of Intel® oneAPI 2025.0 in the last quarter of 2024, ifort was removed from free downloads. However, for customers with active Priority Support, ifort remains available through the Intel® Registration Center (IRC) as a prior version download.
For more information refer to the link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/release-notes/oneapi-supported-product-versions.htm,
Intel® oneAPI users with active Intel Priority Support can access older versions via a secure portal you gain access to as part of your support subscription.

Of course, when I got home and tried it again, the download option swapped to the right version... Although I did have to use Firefox on my Mac.
When you say 'Following the release of Intel® oneAPI 2025.0 in the last quarter of 2024, ifort was removed from free downloads', do you mean that the 2024.2.1 version listed on the downloads website doesn't actually contain ifort? If so, is there no other way to get it?

Hello mhvg1994,
We sincerely apologize for the delay in our response and any inconvenience this may have caused. We're pleased to hear that you were eventually able to access the correct download version.
We would like to clarify that the version 2024.2.1 listed on the Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit website does not include the Intel® Fortran Compiler Classic (IFORT) or Intel® Fortran Compiler (IFX), as these compilers are part of the Intel® HPC Toolkit. The latest available version of the Intel® HPC Toolkit, 2025.2.0, is currently listed on the Intel website and does not include IFORT, as it was removed in the Intel® oneAPI 2025.0 release.
Intel® Fortran Compiler Classic (IFORT) is available in Intel® HPC Toolkit versions prior to the 2025.0.0 release, but it is only accessible to users with active Priority Support. Customers with active Priority Support can access both the Intel® HPC Toolkit (IFORT & IFX) through the Intel® Registration Center (IRC).
For more information on the components included in each toolkit, please click here.
