I installed the Fortran Compiler Classic 2022 and integrated it with Studio 2022 and everything worked fine.
I have other development tools that require Studio 2019. I installed Studio 2019 and attempted to integrate the Fortran compiler by uninstalling it and reinstalling.
During the reinstall, I get the error Unable to complete installation. Removal of component has failed intel.oneapi.win.ifort-compiler.ide.vs2019.
Attached is the installation log and a screen capture of the install screen.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thank you!

Hi BruceB,
Thanks for the information. We would suggest you to kindly go through the below steps.
- Please note, our engineering team has tested and validated a list of supported Visual Studio versions for the Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit versions. We would recommend you choose from them.
- Make sure to install the version of Visual studio with "Desktop Development with C++" component selection.
- Repair the installed Intel® Fortran compiler with the same installer.
Kindly proceed with the steps only when the previous step has been completed. However, do let us know if you come across any queries or concerns.
Regards,
Soumya

Hi BruceB,
Thanks for the update, Please try the below workaround steps. They may seem quite similar to the set of steps provided previously, however, these are for complete uninstallation and clean installation. Please proceed with the steps only when the previous step has been completed.
- Uninstall Visual Studio and any remaining traces of all the versions installed. Kindly visit the below link to find Microsoft's recommended ways to uninstall and remove Visual Studio completely.
- Use the installer for the currently installed Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit and try repairing it now through the installer.
- Uninstall the repaired version through the same Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit installer
- Install a validated Visual Studio version with the Desktop development with C++ component selected.
- Try installing the Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit.
However, please let us know the below details, if the issue persists.
- A copy of the installed Visual Studio info.
- The logs from the oneapi %TEMP% directory
Looking forward to your response.

Soumya
