“I’m trying to compile Delft3D 4 on Windows with Visual Studio 2022, but I need the classic ifort compiler. Does anyone have the Intel HPC Toolkit 2021.x or 2022.x installer that still includes ifort? The new ifx is not supported.”

ifort was discontinued starting with the 2025.0.0 HPC toolkit. However, all earlier than 2025 versions of the HPC toolkit include ifort.

Hi Jonathan, thank you for accepting our solution.

We would like to inform you that Intel® HPC Toolkit (Versions: 2021 and 2022) are old & unsupported. Please note that the older versions of Intel® Toolkits are not available publicly, only the latest version Intel® Toolkits and other latest products are available for download and installation.

We urge users to upgrade to the latest version of Intel® developer tools. The unsupported versions do not include the latest functional and security updates. These versions are targeted to be removed after a period. We understand that this might be challenging, but it's important to note that the users with active priority support can only access older product versions.

For more information refer to the link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/release-notes/oneapi-supported-product-versions.html.

Intel® oneAPI users with active Intel Priority Support can access older versions via a secure portal you gain access to as part of your support subscription.

With that said we are closing this thread now. If you have any further queries, please post a new question, as this thread will no longer be monitored by Intel®.
