I am using the Aspen Plus V14 and want to include user-defined Subroutine which requires ifort (Intel Fortran Compiler Classic) but it is not available in the latest the oneAPI HPC toolkit 2025?

  • Visual FORTRAN 2019.3.203 compiler.

Could you please confirm whether the latest version of the Intel® Toolkits is compatible with Intel® Visual Fortran Compiler (version 2019)? Specifically, I'd like to know if the latest version are compatible with Aspen Plus V14?

Additionally, could you provide information on the cost of Priority Support, including whether it provides access to older toolkit versions?

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi Abubakar, we hope your doing great!

We would like to inform you that Intel® Parallel Studio XE has been transitioned to the Intel® oneAPI Toolkits. The Intel® oneAPI versions have been available since 2021, while Intel® Parallel Studio XE has been deprecated, with the last available versions being 2020.

Please be informed that Intel® Parallel Studio XE is old and unsupported. Intel® has decided that Intel® Parallel Studio XE, All Editions, All Versions are not supported anymore. We urge users to upgrade to the latest version of Intel® developer tools. The unsupported versions do not include the latest functional and security updates. These versions are targeted to be removed after a period. We understand that this might be challenging, but it's important to note that the users with active priority support can only access older product versions.

For more information refer to the link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/release-notes/oneapi-supported-product-versions.html.

  • Accelerated response time for technical questions and other product needs.
  • Ability to influence product features and quality.
  • Priority assistance for escalated defects
