Installation of "Intel oneAPI Base Tool Kit v. 2024.2

I am attempting to install the subject "tool Kit" on a MAC PC (wiith an "M1" processor) using the latest "Parallels" virtual Windows 11 machine.  Microsoft's Visual Studio  Community 2022 v 17.10.5 is installed and operational on the MAC.  On either a new installation attempt or a "Repair", I receive the message:

"The following tools have been repaired (for a "repair" attempt) successfully.  Intel oneAPI Base Toolkit v. 2024.2  However, some errors occurred in the process. Please view the log file for more information."

I have reason to believe I have successfully installed the subject tool kit on a Windows 11, - Professional, i7 processor.

I have attempted the "new install" and repair process on the virtual Windows machine  several times with no success.

I am attaching one of the "log" files created for the various install attempts.

If the solution is as simple as "you can't get there from here" (namely the Intel oneAPI Base tool Kit is NOT compatible with or installable on a virtual windows PC), then please just tell me.

Thank you in advance for any help you can pridvide

Hi Kane, we wanted to let you know that the Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit is not supported on Apple M1 chips. For more details on system requirements, please refer to the following link:

Link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/system-requirements/intel-oneapi-base-toolkit-system-requirements.html

Additionally, you can check the compatibility of Microsoft Visual Studio with Intel® Compilers at this link:

Link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/reference-implementation/intel-compilers-compatibility-with-microsoft-visual-studio-and-xcode.html

Please note that the installation or repair was unsuccessful due to either an incompatible version of Visual Studio or an unsupported chip.

Glad to share the developments of my query.

The answer I received suggests the version “IDs” of both oneAPI and VS2022 needed for a viable package are “tightly interwoven.  The problem for which I am (at least at the moment) is that I do not have the needed version / release of VS2022 Community and am unable to revert to the needed version.

In addition to that, a reply to my posting noted that oneAPI (as I understand it) is incompatible with the latest “Parallels” VM I am using on a Mac with a “M1” processor / chip.

Consequently, I am pursuing another solution.

I wish to thank all who have tried to help.
