Hi to everyone,
some weeks ago I encountered problems with Visual Studio 2022 and Intel OneApi Fortran on Windows 10, the CompatibilityToolPackage wasn't found anymore. After a clean unistallation of VS and OneApi I now get the error message Unable to set up the installer" when calling the bootstrapper of BaseKit 2022.2.0.252 - I attach the log files for further information.
My Fortran Program is designed to run in parallel mode and will be linked against hdf5, if I'm right I will need the Visual Studio professional package - but currently nothing is working...
Any help highly appreciated, many thanks in advance...
Bernhard

Hi Bernhard, could you confirm the version of Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 you are using with Intel® oneAPI Base & HPC Toolkits 2022.2?
We would like to know.

Hi Arpan,
I'm sorry I'll be out of the office till August 11th, but to your questions:
I'm using Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 17.2.6 and oneAPI BaseKit 2022.2.0.252.
After deinstallation of all Visual Studio and Intel oneAPI packages I now get the following:
Installation of BaseKit complains about "Intel Visual Fortran Compiler 19.1 Integration(s) in Microsoft Visual Studio* is already installed." as well as "Intel C++ Compiler 19.1 Integration(s) in Microsoft Visual Studio* is already installed." when doing the Prerequisites Check. Proceeding installation leeds to error message
"ERROR : Installation of component has failed.
Component id: intel.oneapi.win.dpcpp_debugger.fee.vs2022, name: Intel® Distribution for GDB*, version: 2021.6.0-188.
Error: Sequence execution failed."
and log-file attached.
Thanks for your help,
Bernhard

Bernhard, please note that Intel® oneAPI Toolkits 2022.2 is not compatible with Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 Version 17.2 or more.
