Installing OneAPI Toolkit on macOS

Hello All,

I am somehow new around the setup tools to get intel processors accelerators via optimizers and for that I am considering to adopt Intel OneAPI, pytorch-extensions, just to name a few. I own a macbook air with Intel built in processor. I am having some really hardtime to install/run the toolkit on macOS system and the prompt message is either to run on Linux or Windows.

I'd like to know the toolkit meant to run on macOS does it need to have a Linux installed on the macOS machine? I am considering getting rid of macOS OS and install Linux instead so I can benefit for the Intel accelerators.

Can I get a good guidance on how to proceed on that? Is it advisable to fully built my existing macOS changed it to Linux?

Looking forward for any support or guidance.

Cheers

Ataliba
