Hi
I am trying to install oneAPI base toolkit 2021 on windows 11. I tried running the following installation files.
w_BaseKit_p_2021.4.0.3421_offline.exe and
w_BaseKit_p_2021.2.0.2871.exe
I run the files as administrator. I press "Continue" on the first dialog box saying "Installer will check your system requirements and launch automatically. Click Continue to begin".
The result is that it downloads something very fast, a logo appears, and then the installer shuts down with out any messages.
I need to use that version because it needs to run with Abaqus 2023 and that is the version that is supported. I have installed Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 community.
Does anyone have a suggestion for what I should do to fix it?
BR Brian

Hi Brian, please share the below information to us:
- Version of Microsoft Visual Studio installed along with it's build version
- Other versions of Intel® Parallel Studio XE or Intel® oneAPI already installed on the system
- Screenshots of the error screen
- Installation Log files
The default path for a log file for a oneAPI installation is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\oneAPI\logs
The default path for a log file for a Parallel Studio XE installation is: %temp%\pset_tmp_PSXE<version>_<username>
We would like to know.

Brian, please click here: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/reference-implementation/intel-compilers-compatibility-with-microsoft-visual-studio-and-xcode.html, to check the compatibility of the IDE with our toolkits.
We found out that Microsoft had pushed updates for older Visual Studio releases which corrupted the older integration setups with our compilers. Please note that prior to the release of Intel® compilers, it is tested with a certain set of Microsoft Visual Studio IDE for compatibility testing. Now with this update, the compatibility has been lost. Considering these are older versions of our product which are currently out of support, Intel® will not be able to push updates for them. We believe that the issue is caused to a .DLL file located here: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\VisualStudio\Setup\x86\Microsoft.VisualStudio.Setup.Configuration.Native.dll
If you can replace this new .dll file with an older .dll file, it should fix the issue. For this, we suggest you to contact Microsoft support by clicking here: Get help with Visual Studio.
