Hi,
Last year, the research group I am a part of purcharsed an Intel Fortran Compiler license. We inquired about the compatibility of this license with older versions of the compiler (those part of intel parallel studio 2018), and were told that the license was compatible with older versions of the compiler too. We were able to use Intel Parallel Studio 2018 on a Windows machine without any issues. We recently we made the transition to a Linux machine for a particular application that also requires Intel Parallel Studio 2018, however, when I tried to use the license file that can be downloaded from the registration center with the intel parallel studio 2018 installation in Linux and i got an error message saying the license is invalid.
I wonder if this is due to the support for the license expiring late last year. Would appreciate any feedback/help would be greatly appreciated.
