Hi,
We are using a floating license for the Intel Fortran Compiler and want to move the license manager to a Virtual Machine. Will it work on a VM? If so, are there any special installation instructions for using on a VM?
Note - I posted this question in the Fortran Compiler community but it was suggested I post it here instead.
Thanks,
Vicki

Hi Vicki, you would need a modified license based on the host information corresponding to the VM host details. For guidance on how to modify the host information of a floating license, visit here> https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/troubleshooting/change-serverhost-data-node-locked-or-floating-license.html

We won't be able to test this for a few weeks but I'll post the results as soon as we're done testing. Thank you!
