MPI hang issue with RHEL9.2

I am encountering an issue with SU2 during runtime. I have successfully compiled SU2 using Intel One API 2023 on operating system version 9.2. However, I am facing a problem when running SU2. The specific issue is that SU2 fails to generate any output; it becomes unresponsive. I have attempted to run it with Intel OneAPI versions 2021, 2022, and 2023, but the problem persists. Notably, SU2 functions properly when using OpenMPI with the gnu compiler.

Hi Praveen, Could you please share the below details:


  • Is the installer an online or an offline package? 
  • Screenshots of the error screen.
  • Is MPI hang issue occurred post installation or pre-installation?


We would like to know.
