Need RedHat 7 compatible version of oneAPI Base Toolkit: TBB, MKL, IPP

Hello,

Can someone provide me with a URL to acquire the FOSS oneAPI Base Toolkit, specifically the 2019 version? I need to install this on my Linux system with Red Hat 7. Upgrading to Red Hat 8 is not possible so I cannot use the 2020.0+ oneAPI stuff.

More specifically, I truly only require the FOSS 2019 version of these three items:

1. Intel Threading Building Blocks (TBB)

2. Intel Integrated Performance Primitives (IPP)

3. Intel Math Kernel Library (MKL)

So if the older (2019 version) of these can be downloaded individually, that works for me too.

I have been off and on the phone with Intel support various times and they ultimately suggested I make a post in these forms. Thanks!

Hi Ryan,

Intel® has transitioned from Intel® Parallel Studio XE & Intel® System Studio to Intel® oneAPI Toolkits by the end of the year 2020. There is no version of Intel® oneAPI Toolkits that would contain the mentioned components of the 2019 version.

Due to the transition, product suites: Intel® Parallel Studio XE & Intel® System Studio which were previously available have become legacy products. Free-to-use product licenses for the suites and the components are not available anymore.

Even if we provide any installer of the components, they would require a valid free license for the components to work, providing which is outside of our scope now.

However, please know, Intel® Threading Building Blocks (oneTBB) is a component of Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit i.e. supported on Red Hat Enterprise Linux* 7.x. You may visit the below link for reference:

Link: https://software.intel.com/content/www/us/en/develop/articles/intel-oneapi-base-toolkit-system-requirements.html

Visit the below link to download the toolkit. Install and run the tool under the terms of use found in the End User License Agreement. No license file is needed.

Download Linkhttps://software.intel.com/content/www/us/en/develop/tools/oneapi/base-toolkit/download.html

End-User License Agreement Link: https://software.intel.com/content/www/us/en/develop/articles/end-user-license-agreement.html

However, the rest of the mentioned component versions are not available. The only way left, to avail Intel® Parallel Studio XE suite & its components is by purchasing a commercial or academic license for Intel® oneAPI Toolkits. We understand your query. However, you may contact our resellers or visit our webstore for more information regarding the purchase, if required.

Webstore Link: https://softwarestore.intel.com/SuiteSelection/oneAPI

Commercial License FAQ: https://software.intel.com/content/www/us/en/develop/articles/oneapi-commercial-faq.html

Looking into the issue, we have also checked your email domain and found valid paid licenses with the required product version and components linked to it. We would suggest you contact your internal team to find and link licenses as required.

Have a nice day ahead.

Regards,

Soumya

Thank you for the detailed response, that clears a lot of things up.

Is anyone able to confirm for me that Intel TBB, MKL, IPP  version 2018 Update 3  is FOSS? I believe my company may have this version available to me, thanks.

Hi Ryan,

Thanks for getting back to us with the update. Please note, Intel® does not provide guidance on the End User License Agreement and how people use the product. You will have to consult with your own legal department regarding it. Kindly find the EULA link below.
