When the previous version of oneAPI was released the notification e-mail, that was sent out to everyone, referred to Intel@ Fortran Compiler Classic 2025.0.2 in both Windows and Linux links. I mentioned this at the time in another post back in November but no one from Intel commented. It caused much confusion because IFORT is NOT included in the download as it was deprecated at 2024.0.2. This fact may not be known or forgotten by some users resulting in the loss of IFORT when housekeeping etc.
I note that the latest e-mail still has the same text with only updated version numbers.
Am I misunderstanding what is being referred to? i.e. when you download the Fortan Compiler only option I assume you only get IFX and NOT IFORT of any type.
I usually download the oneAPI Base and Toolkits even though I only really use the Fortran compilers.
The release notes don't appear to contain anything useful regarding what specific issues have been addressed, in fact they look to be exactly the same as those provided for the previous release.
I initially put the Subject in BOLD TEXT with lots of stars, to signify shouting in frustration at the receptient, but my AI algoithm changed it back!
Season's greetings to anyone reading this.
Steve
