Hello,
I need to get a new student license for Parallel studio. However when I follow the link for parallel studio for windows from here:
https://software.intel.com/content/www/us/en/develop/articles/qualify-for-free-software.html#student
It takes me to this page
https://registrationcenter.intel.com/en/home/error/260/
Which displays an error message saying "We're sorry, you need a serial number to register for this product. If you have serial number please go to the Intel® Software Development Products Registration Center .". But I am there precisely because I want to get a serial number. I see no other link to register as a student on the student section of https://software.intel.com/content/www/us/en/develop/articles/qualify-for-free-software.html#student just a buttons with the name of the operating system that take me to an error message.

Here is a screen shoot of page I am talking about.
The same url renders differently for me on different systems (I have tried Ubuntu/windows with chrome Firefox and chromium all with UK ips and have not detected a pattern). The other page that appears for this url https://software.intel.com/content/www/us/en/develop/articles/qualify-for-free-software.html#student does not offer parallel studio but only offer oneAPI. Could this be related to the move to oneAPI? I don't really want to update software if at all possible.
Thanks

Hi Jamie, we would like to inform you that our websites were recently modified as Intel® Parallel Studio XE transitioned to Intel® oneAPI. We tried to access the link using Google Chrome in an incognito mode from our end. We would suggest you to clear the cache and cookies of your browser first. Mostly, when you use a browser, it saves some information from websites in its cache and cookies. Clearing them fixes certain problems, like loading or formatting issues on sites.
We will also suggest you to access these links using the incognito mode of your browser.
Have a nice day!

Hi everybody,
I have the same issue as @hentall_maccuish__ja . The problem with us is that we want to continue our Parallel Studio XE but we don't have the license for next year.
If we change it to oneAPI, the questions are
- Can we have the new student license to continue our Parallel Studio XE? I have tried to install oneAPI, and the new software has conflicts with the older ones.
- If the 1st solution does not work, so we have to use oneAPI (remove all the Parallel Studio XE and install one API - for my case, I have to install 3 softwares including Parallel Studio XE in progress so I have to reinstall all these 3), can we also have the Student license for oneAPI for 1 year?
Thanks a lot for all the answers and support!
Best regards,

Thank you for your suggestions. I just tried the solution you provided and it works. We can access to and install oneAPI and followed by the Intel oneAPI HPC toolkit as 1) and 2) show. We only need to follow the displayed procedures.
bash l_BaseKit_p_2021.1.0.2659_offline.sh
bash l_HPCKit_p_2021.1.0.2684_offline.sh
3) In the .bashrc file, add "
export PATH=/home/user/intel/oneapi/compiler/2021.1.1/linux/bin/intel64/:$PATH
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/home/user/intel/oneapi/intelpython/latest/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
"
source .bashrc
Then it works for me. Thanks again.

Thank you. I am sorry I did not install it in windows. But I think the installation is similar to in linux environment. Maybe do this: keep in mind to uninstalled the studio xe 2020. Then first install the Intel oneAPI Base tookit, followed by the Intel oneAPI HPC toolkit. And it was from my colleague. Hope this helps.

I am having the exact same issue. I don't want to install the new 'oneAPI' and just want to stick with the Parallel Studio XE 2019. Did you happen to find a solution to your problem?

I have the same problem. I am a PhD student and I use Intel® Parallel Studio XE Cluster Edition for Windows 2020 in my research. My current license will expire soon and I still need to use the product during the upcoming months.
I tried migrating to the oneAPI toolkit, but it will not install on Windows 7. I cannot upgrade to Windows 10 yet because I cannot risk missing my deadline for publication. Can you please extend my current license just one more year?
