Hi,

I am trying to install the oneAPI Base Toolkit.

Looking at https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/system-requirements/intel-oneapi-base-toolkit-system-requirements.html and https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/guide/intel-graphics-developers-guides.html, it seems my integrated GPU should be supported, but I get the 'No relevant GPU driver' message.

I am using an Acer Nitro 5 so I believe the current installed driver is a modified one, https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/7572?b=1.

Hi Rickson, you would need to setup your system for Intel® GPU. If you are using Intel® GPU, you need to install the GPU drivers separately.

  1. Intel® Graphics - Windows® 10 DCH Drivers for Apollo Lake, Gemini Lake, Amber Lake, Whiskey Lake, Comet Lake, and Lakefield
  2. Intel® Iris® Xe MAX Dedicated Graphics Drivers for Intel® Iris® Xe MAX Graphics
  • Run the installer

Hi,

As I said though I am using an Acer laptop with a modified intel GPU driver. I remember having downloaded the official intel drivers before and that caused some graphics problems in some apps (though that was two years ago) so I am reluctant to install the drivers from the link.

Rickson, we understand your situation.

Prior to the release of the product it is tested on a list of platforms and with a list of GPU drivers. These make up the list of supported platforms for the product.

It is necessary for our users to use the product with these supported drivers installed especially for the profilers and analyzer tools. It may work on other OS platforms or with other drivers, however if it does not, since they are not tested prior to the release, Intel® will unfortunately not be able to support it.

Rickson, unfortunately we were unable to hear back from you.

If you have any further queries, please post a new question as this thread will no longer be monitored by Intel®.
