Hi iboscu,
We tested the apt-repo installation on our end and it works now. The mirror sync error is temporary. Mirror sync is an update to the mirrors from a central/primary server by copying all the updated files over. During this process, there could be inconsistencies with the latest version. Run the command again, and let us know if you face the same error again.
Regards,
Soumya
