Hello, I encountered the issue shown in the image while installing the oneAPI Base Toolkit on a Linux server. I have tried reinstalling multiple times, but the problem persists.
How can I resolve this?
Thank you!

- Other versions of Intel® Parallel Studio XE or Intel® oneAPI already installed on the system?
- Is the installer an online or offline package?

Thank you for your reply, and sorry for the late response. I didn’t receive a notification for your email. Please forgive me if there are any grammar mistakes, as my English is not very good. Thank you.
To answer your questions:
- I am not sure if any other versions of Intel® Parallel Studio XE or Intel® oneAPI are installed on the administrator account of this machine, but I can confirm that no Intel software is installed on the user account. The error occurred when trying to install the software on the user account.
- I am using the offline installer for the installation.
- I am using CentOS 7.9.2009.
Thank you!

@Deeksha_S_Intel Is there some reason the answer and information cannot be shared with ALL on this publivc forum?

Hi Yifan,
Thank you for your patience. We would like to inform you that based on system requirements for Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit (Version: 2025.1.0), we regret to inform you that compatibility with CentOS 7.9.2009 has not been confirmed.
By compatibility, we mean that our engineering team has validated the Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit on supported operating systems. Therefore, it may or may not function with CentOS 7.9.2009. If an error occurs, we may not be able to resolve it unless the issue can be reproduced on a supported operating system version.
Please refer to the link below for the list of supported operating systems for installing the Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit(Version : 2025.1.0):
Please let us know if you have any other concerns.
Have a great day ahead.

Thank you for your reply. Could you provide an offline installation package of the old version of HPC Toolkit that is compatible with CentOS 7.9.2009? Thank you.
Wish you a happy life!

Hi Yifan,
We would like to inform you that, CentOS* 7.x is supported for Intel® oneAPI HPC Toolkit Version 2022.3 and earlier (including Version 2021.4). For more details, please refer to the link below:
Please note that the older versions of Intel® Toolkits are not available publicly, only the latest version Intel® Toolkits and other latest products are available for download and installation.
Intel® has decided to discontinue support for Intel® Toolkits (including all versions released in 2023 and earlier) are not supported anymore. We urge users to upgrade to the latest version of Intel® developer tools. The unsupported versions do not include the latest functional and security updates. These versions are targeted to be removed after a period. We understand that this might be challenging, but it's important to note that the users with active priority support can only access older product versions.
For more information refer to the link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/release-notes/oneapi-supported-product-versions.html, and scroll down to the Unsupported Product Version.
Intel® oneAPI users with active Intel Priority Support can access older versions via a secure portal you gain access to as part of your support subscription.
