Re: activation rights do not allow" setup error while installing IMSL

Hi 

Using Intel Parallel Studio XE Composer Edition for Fortran windows.

Trying to upgrade to version 2015 from 2013 . By doing so, getting errors of Activation rights dont allow this software to be installed.

 

Please support.

Hi Vijay,


Your comment on the prior thread has been turned into a separate post, for it to get addressed better. Please know the Intel® Parallel Studio XE version 2015 is an old and unsupported product version. It has undergone deprecation due to having a lack of functional and security updates over time. Resources for supporting such versions are none or close to none. You may refer to the below link for more information on supported and unsupported product versions.

Thanks for the details. It has provided us with a better understanding of the concern. We have recently emailed back with elaboration on the full installer so that you can confirm it. As requested earlier, please let us know the version of the Intel® Software License Manager installed on the server system. Kindly get back to us with the output of:


lmutil lmstat –a


from the server system. It will allow us to understand the situation better.
