Return Code: 1003

Hi,

I have tried both Windows 10 and Windows 11 installing the Base Toolkit.

The silent install shows this at the end of the log:

WARNING : Return Code is overwrited by Setup.exe return code. [ret code] = 1000 + [setup.exe ret code]

Return Code: 1003

Hi David, could you please share the below details for further investigation: 

• Is the installer an online or an offline package?  
• Version of Microsoft Visual Studio installed along with it's build version  
• Other versions of Intel® Parallel Studio XE or Intel® oneAPI already installed on the system   
• Installation Log files.  
  • The default path for a log file for a oneAPI installation is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\oneAPI\logs  
  • The default path for a log file for a Parallel Studio XE installation is: %temp%\pset_tmp_PSXE<version>_<username>

hi,

I was able to get around this by removing the --log parameter. (I didn't try using --log with any folder but the TEMP folder)

Offline installer

MSBuild version 17.6.3+07e294721 for .NET Framework
17.6.3.22601
