Transfer a license/registration to new user

The prior user of our Intel Fortran Compiler license has left the company.  I need to have the license and registration shifted over to me.  How can I get this to happen?  Every attempt to register the license on this site just gives the notice that it is already registered.  Thanks.

Hi Patrick_TMST,


Thanks for posting your concern on the forum. We can transfer the license to your account. However, please know, according to our privacy rules we are not authorized to transfer or share the license without consent from the license owner.


We do understand that the license owner is out of the organization now. However, in case you would like us to transfer the license, we have to send an email to the current owner, hoping to get the auto-response or email bounce back from the email to confirm that the email account is inactive.


If none of that occurs, we would wait for a response for two business days. If there is no response from the current owner in that timeframe then we would be free to transfer the license to your account.


However, before we send this email, we would be needing a few details and permission regarding the disclosure of your email id to the current owner in the email. We have just emailed you requesting the same. Since these details (including your email id) are private information and cannot be provided on the public forum, we suggest you get back to us by replying to the email.
