Unable to activate Intel Visual Fortran Composer XE 2013 Update 1 for Windows OS

I have bought the Intel Visual Fortran Composer XE 2013 for Windows OS, around the year 2013. The serial number is available. I have opened the (previously unopened) package on19 January 2025 for the first time, and tried to install it. I could not, because during the setup  the error message read: (photo bellow) "Activation rights do not allow this software to be installed. This could be due to expired subscription or incompatible serial number"

All I want is to go through with setup for the product that I paid for:

  • I (at this point) do not need any support (this might come later, may not be available anymore, but this is not the point now)
  • I am not able to determine any (in)compatibility at this point because I cannot setup the product
  • All I want is to be able to setup the product for the first time
  • When the product was bought, it was not subscription for some period of time, bit lifetime licence.

Please help me to setup this product.

Hi Davor, we understand your concern; however, please note that Intel® has decided that Intel® one API Toolkits Versions: 2023.1.0 and earlier, Intel Parallel Studio XE, All Editions, All Versions, and Intel Compilers Versions: 2024.0.1 and earlier are not supported anymore. We urge users to upgrade to the latest version of Intel® developer tools. The unsupported versions do not include the latest functional and security updates. These versions are targeted to be removed after a period.

For more information refer to the link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/release-notes/oneapi-supported-product-versions.htm, and scroll down to the Unsupported Product Version.

Hi, Davor, unfortunately, we were unable to hear back from you.

If you have any further queries, please post a new question, as this thread will no longer be monitored by Intel®.
