Hi,
We encounter an issue of vtune installation on Mac OS. Vtune can not be started after installation.

Full File system privillege and Accessibility have already been given to vtune.

Error msg from console shows as following,

{ID: com.intel.vtune, PID[22891], auid: 501, euid: 501, binary path: '/Applications/Intel VTune Profiler 2020.app/Contents/MacOS/vtune-gui'} attempted to call TCCAccessRequest without the com.apple.private.tcc.manager.check-by-audit-token entitlement

ENV.

Mac os Catalina 10.15.7 (19H15)

Vtune 2021, 2020, 2019 are tried.

Looking forward to your apply.

Hi Chris,

Yes, I have tried to use command line. It works. Following steps would help users who encounter the same issue.

cd /Applications/Intel\ VTune\ Amplifier\ 2019.app/Contents
source ./amplxe-vars.sh
sudo amplxe-gui
type your password.

Best Regards,

Hi Zhi, please note that Intel® VTune™ Profiler 2019 is not supported on macOS 10.15*. We will suggest you to visit here> https://software.intel.com/content/www/us/en/develop/articles/vtune-profiler-system-requirements.htm..., and check whether your system meets the minimum requirements for the software or not.

Also, Intel® VTune™ Profiler Platform Profiler host functionality (viewing and analyzing results) does not support macOS* for both 2020 and 2021 version of the software.

Cutefisher,

Would you be able to test to see if you can launch VTune analysis from command line?

Thanks

Chris
