Hi Chris,
Yes, I have tried to use command line. It works. Following steps would help users who encounter the same issue.
cd /Applications/Intel\ VTune\ Amplifier\ 2019.app/Contents
source ./amplxe-vars.sh
sudo amplxe-gui
type your password.
Best Regards,
Cutefisher

Hi Zhi, please note that Intel® VTune™ Profiler 2019 is not supported on macOS 10.15*. We will suggest you to visit here> https://software.intel.com/content/www/us/en/develop/articles/vtune-profiler-system-requirements.html, and check whether your system meets the minimum requirements for the software or not.
Also, Intel® VTune™ Profiler Platform Profiler host functionality (viewing and analyzing results) does not support macOS* for both 2020 and 2021 version of the software.

Cutefisher,
Would you be able to test to see if you can launch VTune analysis from command line?
Thanks
Chris
