difficulties to install intel oneAPI

Hello,

I have been trying to install the Intel oneAPI Base Toolkit and HPC Toolkit.

When I try to install the downloaded packages I get the messages:

Launching the installer...
Cannot install 'intel.oneapi.lin.basekit.product,v=2022.1.2-146'. It is already installed.

Launching the installer...
Cannot install 'intel.oneapi.lin.hpckit.product,v=2022.1.2-117'. It is already installed.

What can I do to start a fresh installation?

I forgot to mention, the operating system is Linux, in regard to the following problem:

Problem solved by manually removing intel directories from the root directories /opt and /var.
