We already installed Base Toolkit on our Linux Toolbox but we have issues with HPC Toolkit.

We always encounter errors when trying to install.

The error log is attached.

Hi PatrickE,

Thanks for posting your concern on the forum. Please provide the below information.

  • The operating system's complete name, version and architecture.
  • A copy of the error output.
  • Are you trying to install using the online or offline package?

The above details would allow us to check further.

Have a pleasant day ahead!

Regards,

Dilanjan

Hello Dilanjan,

Red Hat Enterprise Linux Workstation 7.7 with kernel version 3.10.0-1062.el7.x86_64

The entire log with errors is attached in the question I have.

We are using the offline package. We had no problems with the Base Kit.

Best regards

Hi PatrickE,

Thanks for the information. Version 2021.3 is the latest version of the Intel® oneAPI toolkit. Please try the latest version of both Intel® oneAPI BaseToolkit and the Intel® oneAPI HPC Toolkit and see if this resolves the issue.

Note - Make sure to download and install first the Intel® OneAPI Base Toolkit and then add Intel® OneAPI HPC Toolkit or the toolkit of your choice. You may use the below link to do so.

Hello Dilanjan,

I know that there is a newer version. The thing is:

I want the 2021.2 version to work and not a newer version.

Could you please provide any help with this version?

Best regards

Patrick

All dependencies you listet are installed already.

We also tried the newer version you suggested:

l_BaseKit_p_2021.3.0.3219_offline.sh

l_HPCKit_p_2021.3.0.3230_offline.sh

We encounter an issue with installing the python package with the base toolkit, everything else works fine.

With the HPC Toolkit we receive the same error as with version 2021.2:

Apologies for the delay. Engineering got back to me this morning. They want the full install log from both the 2021.2, which you have provided, and the 2021.3 install log. They are also asking how much disk space you have left on this system?

Thanks

Chris
