my intel parallel studio xe 2018 compiler, How do I renew my license?

Hello.

I am using Intel 2018xe on my server.

The license is as follows and I purchased it around October 2017.

Today, the license was confirmed to have expired on the server, and when I tried to log in to the website to check the license key, it said that there was no registered key. How do I renew it?

error message :

Error : product support for your (Comp-FL) license has expired

ifort : error #10052 : could not checkout FLEXlm license.

License Term : Perpetual

Date of purchase : October 2017

Floating Commercial 5 seats (ESD) * 2 license.

I purchased a perpetual license, do I need to renew it?

I've attached the response I received from Intel.

Hi Byungil, thank you for letting us know about your concern. We have checked and found that the support for your license serial numbers: license1, and license2 had expired on 11/9/2018 and as such the data including information of the licenses has not been retained in our systems. Due to that the license did not migrate from Intel® Registration Center 1.0 to Intel® Registration Center 2.0.

Thank you in advance.

Thanks for your answer.

You said that your license expired in 2018, but doesn't that mean that if you buy a perpetual license, you can use the compiler forever?

If there is such an issue, wouldn’t it mean there’s no need to purchase a perpetual license?

I've been using the compiler without any problems until recently.

About this error

Can I just update the license.lic file in Linux to use it? Or can I use it again if I reinstall it?

Please check this. Thank you.
