oneAPI 2022.1.3 Base Toolkit and HPC Toolkit installation failure in Windows 10

As noted by others, initial attempts to update oneAPI on Windows failed due to some existing components not being removed, and the installation being automatically rolled back. After several failed attempts, I uninstalled previous versions of oneAPI, and now the installation just fails faster.

The same behavior occurred with online and offline versions of the installer, with some or all components selected, and with VS 2022 and/or 2019 integration selected or not. One thing that is odd is that the installer states that an earlier version of Intel Advisor is still installed, but this was actually removed.

I've attached installation logs (small initial installer and bootstrapper logs, a large bootstrapper log, a very large installer log, and a small final summary installer log)

VS 2022 17.1.0

VS 2019 16.11.10

Based on the other comments in this forum, I suppose I'll just wait for the 2022.1.4 release and hope that goes better.

Hi Mark_S,

Looks like you've deleted installation cache for 2022.1.2-154 package which is located in C:/ProgramData/Intel/InstallerCache/

You can try to delete 2022.1.2 from original installation package, not from Program Files and download and install 2022.1.3.

Or you can get cache data(packages) from 2022.1.2 package and place it back to location C:/ProgramData/Intel/InstallerCache/intel.installer.oneapi.windows.installer/intel.oneapi.win.BaseKit.package,v=2022.1.2-154

Sorry for inconvenience
