I am using Intel oneAPI Base and HPC Toolkits with Microsoft Visual Studio 2022
version 17.7.7 on a Windows 10 computer to execute Fortran programs. What is the
recommended procedure for updating the Intel Toolkits without breaking the
integration of the Toolkits with Visual Studio. For example, can I simply uninstall
2023.1.0 versions of the Intel Toolkits using Control Panel and then install the
2024.0.1 versions of the Toolkits to update the Toolkits? Must I also uninstall
and reinstall Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 before updating the Intel Toolkits
to ensure integration of the updated Toolkits with Visual Studio?

Hi Richard, thank you for posting here. Please note that using the installer is the recommended procedure for updating the product. You don't need to uninstall the product; you can directly run the installer and update it to its latest version. In the same way, you don't need to uninstall Visual Studio. You can check the compatible versions of Visual Studio with the help of the below link:
