This is for offline, no internet installation.

The final steps failed with the following log:

"

Execution of C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\Installer\resources\app\ServiceHub\Services\Microsoft.VisualStudio.Setup.Service\VSIXInstaller.exe failed with exit code -2146233088, output: One or more errors occurred.

Hi Luke, please confirm the below for us:

  • During the installation of MS Visual Studio 2022, did you select the Desktop Development with C++ component?
  • The order of installation would be Microsoft VS 2022 followed by Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit 2022.1.3. Was that the same in your case?
  • Do you have any other version of MS Visual Studio or Intel® oneAPI installed on your system?

Yes I selected Desktop Development with C++ during installation of Microsoft VS.

I uninstalled all versions of Microsoft VS and all versions of Intel oneAPI from my system and started afresh.

Then I installed Microsoft VS 2022 followed by Intel oneAPI Base Toolkit 2022.1.3.

I'm using Windows 10 and do not have internet connection.

Luke, we have a workaround regarding this:

  • Launch Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 installer
  • Repair Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 installation
  • Run the same installer of Intel® oneAPI Base/HPC Toolkit that you had used to install and repair the Intel® oneAPI Base/HPC Toolkit installation.

Once that is done, try to check if the tools are integrated to the IDE or not.

If it did not, please follow the below steps:

Open Microsoft Visual Studio 22. Go to the Help tab and select About Microsoft Visual Studio from the drop down menu. A dialog box should appear with the list of tools integrated to the IDE. You should find a button Copy Info. Click on that button and paste it here and share the information with us. We will have an idea of the tools that are integrated with the IDE.

Luke, the installer of Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit 2022.1.3 should auto-detect the presence of Microsoft Visual Studio installed on your system prior to the installation taking place. If you have multiple versions of IDE installed, it would also provide you the option to confirm the versions you would like the tools to be integrated with.

From the information, we do not find the presence of any Intel® tool integrated with your IDE. Prior to the installation of Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit 2022.1.3, did you get any such dialog box that detects the presence of Microsoft Visual Studio installed in your system? We would like to know.

Yes, during the installation of the oneAPI Base Toolkit, Visual Studio 2022 was auto-detected and I checked the checkbox to indicate that I want oneAPI to integrate with it.
