I am attempting to run the installer for OneAPI Base kit on Windows 10. I have downloaded "w_BaseKit_p_2023.2.0.49396_offline.exe" and clicked it to run. The program goes through its self-extraction process, and then asks for my administrator privilege. When that is done, I can see an icon on the taskbar, but no actual installer window on my screen.
If I press "Alt-Tab", I can see a dialog box with the text "Installer will check your system requirements and launch automatically. Click Continue to begin." However, I have no way to click "continue", as the window is somewhere offscreen.
The usual tricks in Windows don't appear to work:
- Right click on the taskbar and select "cascade windows" = no
- Shift+right-click on the taskbar icon and choose "move" = I get an arrow cursor, but no ability to move the window
- Disconnect external displays and force reorganization of the windows = no effect.
This problem occurs with both the online isntaller and the offline installer.
Disconnecting all external displays and using only the built-in laptop display allows successful installation.

Hi Joshua, could you disable the 3D acceleration on your system and try running the installer again?
We would like to know.
