Calling all visionary minds and innovative thinkers across Africa! Are you ready to harness the power of AI to drive positive change in your community? Then mark your calendars for an impactful event: the Intel® Liftoff AI Hackathon for African Startups!

The second edition of this virtual event is taking place from 27 - 31 May, 2024, themed Hack and Connect, and is designed to bring together aspiring tech entrepreneurs, software developers, and AI enthusiasts to collaborate, innovate, and create solutions to concrete African challenges. 

 

Our hackathon agenda: 

  • Hands-on workshops that will allow you to learn AI essentials to enhance your skills
  • 3 days of exciting challenges with mentors to test your skills 
  • Exhibition opportunities to showcase your startup and forge partnerships with industry leaders
  • Networking opportunities to engage with fellow startups and gain insights from domain experts in the AI ecosystem

In order to participate in the Hackathon, there are a few things to remember:

  • You're developing or looking to develop Gen AI technology leveraging LLM. 
  • Your company needs to be early-stage and have a connection to an African country. 
  • In addition to this, participation requires that your team joins the hackathon with your AI engineers or technology owners.
