Do you have questions about Embedded C/C++ software development using the Arm* Development Studio for the Arm Cortex processors incorporated into Intel® SoC FPGAs? Intel is holding another free “Ask an Expert” session to discuss the Arm* Development Studio for Intel® SoC FPGA (Arm* DS for Intel® SoC FPGA). Come and ask our experts about embedded software development targeting integrated Arm Cortex processors inside of Intel SoC FPGAs, and how you can get the most out of the Arm DS for Intel SoC FPGA.

We’re ready to handle your questions about:

  • Basic overview of Arm DS for Intel SoC FPGA
  • Discuss each of the software development components in the Arm DS for Intel SoC FPGA, including the compiler, debugger, tracer, profiler, and more
  • How to use Arm DS for Intel SoC FPGA to compile, debug, and analyze embedded C code written for Arm processors
  • A live demonstration will showcase various aspects of the tool’s operation, including: how to set up a debug connection to a device, how to set up a breakpoint, how to view disassembled code, and how to run a .ds script

Whatever you would like to know about embedded development using the Arm DS for Intel SoC FPGA, be sure to attend this free “Ask an Expert” session with your questions!

During this “Ask an Expert” webinar session, you can get answers from experts and your peers, as well as discuss development techniques with other designers who are creating SoC FPGA designs and developing embedded C/C++ applications with the Arm DS for Intel SoC FPGA. This session will be part webinar and part interactive discussion with technical experts who have hands-on experience with writing embedded software using the Arm Development Studio tools with Intel SoC FPGAs.

No matter what level of experience you have – everyone is welcome to come and ask questions.

This “Ask an Expert” webinar session will be run by Chris Martin and moderated by Susannah Martin, two engineers with substantial and relevant experience. Susannah is a senior applications engineer in the customer training group for Intel FPGAs, FPGA high-level development tools, as well as SoC-related content. Before becoming a trainer, she worked as an FPGA design engineer, embedded programmer, and field applications engineer.

Chris has more than 25 years of embedded and SoC industry experience. He has developed software and worked on design and verification teams at various companies while creating designs and embedded software using Arm-based Intel SoC FPGAs. Currently, Chris is the senior manager of the North American specialist FAEs for Arm. He also serves as the specialist FAE for Arm software development and debug tools. He focuses on helping customers debug embedded software during the development cycle of their SoC FPGA designs.

The Ask an Expert webinar covering the Arm DS for Intel SoC FPGA will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022 9:00AM – 10:00AM Pacific Daylight Time (16:00-1700 GMT)
