Hello again,

Today we continue our series on open source security and how Intel contributes. In part 3, CRob and I talk to Pawan Gupta who is a Linux Kernel engineer focusing on developing mitigations for hardware vulnerabilities.

About our guest:

Pawan is a Kernel engineer at Intel who has been working on PoCs and mitigations for hardware vulnerabilities. Some of his work includes adding mitigation for TSX Async Abort, support for TSX feature updates and other security fixes to Linux kernel. He has good experience on bootloaders, BSPs and device drivers for embedded systems. His areas of interest are Linux Security Modules, virtualization and device drivers.

About the Chips & Salsa video series:

Chips and Salsa is a regular video series with hosts Jerry Bryant and Christopher “CRob” Robinson.  The videos cover such topics as vulnerability disclosures, security incident response, security assurance practices, security technologies with thought-provoking interviews with subject matter experts from Intel and across the security technology spectrum.
