10/15/2020 Update: while many Linux distributions have updated or are in the process of updating, a version of the Linux kernel with these mitigations is not yet available. In the meantime, we continue to recommend specific Kernel fixes, listed in INTEL-SA-00435, to mitigate these issues or check with your Linux operating system provider for updates.

Hi everyone,

For October 2020, we are releasing just one security advisory addressing three vulnerabilities in the BlueZ open-source Bluetooth stack. Affected Linux users are encouraged to follow the recommendations in INTEL-SA-00435.

Our next regularly scheduled security advisory release is November 10, 2020.
