The HackTX hackathon this year will be held on November 2-3 at the University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin). The participants will get an opportunity to develop their hackathon projects on the cloud compute platform sponsored by Intel in the form of Intel® Tiber™ AI Cloud. Another exciting developer resource that Intel will bring for the attendees is AI PCs! In addition to learning about and trying your hands on our cloud platform and AI PCs, you will get a chance to explore our diversified software portfolio powered by the oneAPI programming model that includes Intel® AI tools and frameworks optimizations, and the latest hardware available on Intel Tiber AI Cloud for accelerated AI development. Our team will also guide you on Generative AI (GenAI) concepts, the Intel® Liftoff Program that helps AI startups grow in the industry, and our academic initiatives including Intel® Student Ambassador Program and Educator program for educating today’s youth about modern AI technologies.
What is HackTX 2024?
UT Austin has declared 2024 as the ‘Year of AI’. HackTX 2024 is the annual hackathon organized by the Freetail Hackers community. Through the event, Freetail and UT Austin’s Year of AI aim to open the door of advanced AI innovations for the next gen developers.
Free Access to the Intel® Tiber™ AI Cloud and AI PCs at the Hackathon!
Intel Tiber AI Cloud platform allows you to experiment with the rich collection of oneAPI tools, libraries and frameworks for various AI applications including Machine Learning (ML), Computer Vision, GenAI, AI inference, and more. You can build, test and deploy workloads using these developer resources on Intel latest hardware architectures including CPUs, GPUs, and other accelerators such as the Intel® Gaudi® AI processors.
Participate in the HackTX hackathon and avail yourselves of the Intel Tiber AI Cloud and our AI PC development kits to unlock the power of AI! We will also have a dedicated hackathon projects track called the ‘Best Use of Intel AI’ for those interested in competitively leveraging Intel’s hardware and/or AI software on our cloud platform and AI PCs.
