ENB (GTA V) not working on B580/A770 on latest Driver

Hey Intel-Team,

I’ve run into a bit of a different issue. I recently bought an Intel Arc B580 and noticed that ENB and GTA 5 aren’t playing nice together. I did some troubleshooting and found that my old Arc A770 ran ENB smoothly with a much older driver. Now, the A770 is having the same issues with the latest drivers as my new Intel Arc B580.

I’ve got the latest drivers installed on both my Arc B580 and A770, and the driver that works fine with ENB on the Intel Arc A770 is from August 2023 - 101.4577 WHQL.

Could someone take a look at this? I’d really appreciate it, as it’s quite frustrating. I play GTA 5 a lot with ENB enabled because it looks amazing, and I want to keep using my B580.

I’m here to help if you need any more info!

Best Regards
Bani

Hi bani1o7,

Thank you for posting in the Community!

Please make sure you provide the following basic information when reporting a bug:

  1. What is the graphics driver you are using?
  • Confirm you are using the latest WHQL graphics driver available (let us know the exact driver version you are using).
  • A clean driver installation using DDU in safe mode is recommended. Follow this link for instructions.
  • You could also test using the latest non-WHQL driver. This driver goes through all Intel quality assurance processes and is safe to use for evaluation.
  1. Tell us the name of the game or application and where to obtain it (Steam, Epic, etc.)

Hi,

I apologize for the late response.
The drivers are up to date, and the game was also tested on an AMD system where it works perfectly fine. Unfortunately, the ENB doesn't function with the Intel GPU, resulting in either a completely black or white screen, depending on the weather and time in the game.

Just a quick note: I have updated the QuantV mod version, and the Mod (QuantV) now uses Reshade instead of ENB and it works completely fine with Reshade instead of ENB.
However, some people might experience issues with ENB in other games. I'm not sure if the problem lies with the ENB or the compatibility of the drivers for Intel GPUs.

FYI: ENB in games stands for "ENB Series," a modification that enhances graphics with effects like improved lighting, shadows, and reflections.

I've attached my SSU file for your reference.

Best regards,
Bani

Hi bani1o7,

This is well acknowledged however, I would like to know if the game works well without mods.

Hey @bani1o7 ty for your report.
About this:

"Just a quick note: I have updated the QuantV mod version, and the Mod (QuantV) now uses Reshade instead of ENB and it works completely fine with Reshade instead of ENB

Are you a user of ENB or are you a developer of ENB?

Thanks

Karen
