I am couple of my college friends want to develop an OpenSource software for both Linux and Windows that will work exactly like Lucid Virtu MVP.

The software intelligently assigns tasks in real time to the best available graphics resource based on performance, power and features considerations, with no need for additional hardware. If high end graphics performance is needed for high-resolution 3D gaming, the system will assign the job to the discrete GPU. If not, the discrete GPU automatically goes into idle mode, or shut the power off if possible; heat drops, fan speed slows down and GPU utilization reduced to zero, resulting in a green, power-efficient, long-lasting system.
Can someone pls guide us from where we should start ? Documentations, Example etc.
