Im working on modifying the VBIOS for my 852/855 based project, and I found that hourly back and forth to combine the VBIOS with the modified timing registers into the FlashROM is not a good idea and seems a tedious

and annoying.

To build the final VBIOS friendly,Ive seen this from the:

http://developer.intel.com/design/intarch/applnots/305964.htm ,

it talks about that Intel provides a display debugging utility called the GMCH Utility, I think it will be of great help.

Does anyone has any clues where I could otain this tool?

Hi James,

First, just to clarify for readers, www.intel.com/design/intarch/ is Embedded Intel Architecture, not IIG. http://www.intel.com/products/chipsets/is wherethe IIG docs are.

As for how to obtain hardware development support in either case, here's the official scoop:

If your company has its own Intel representative, you may wish to inquire whether they are able to assist with this inquiry. Your company's Purchasing Department will normally have your Intel representative's contact information. If you have no contact, please see http://www.intel.com/buy/networking/design.htm under "Design Components".

If your location is not listed, please see an Intel Authorized Distributor and ask for a Field Application Engineer (FAE). Our Intel Authorized Distributor list is also linked from the URL above.
