Add processors to Windows 11 Supported Processors list

We are trying to find a way to have Intel processors added to the Windows 11 supported processors list.  Our company manufactures industrial motherboards and we have customers that require the processor be on the list.

The processors we are interested in adding to the list:

i3-7102E

E3-1505L v6

E3-1505M v6

We have installed Windows 11 with motherboards that include the mentioned processors that meet the minimum system requirements for installing Windows 11.

Testing has not revealed any instabilities or shortcomings.

What must one do to have these processors added to the above mentioned list?

Intel cannot do this.  It is Microsoft's list of supported processors, so you will need to lobby Microsoft to make these additions, which will likely be unsucessful.  Also, you say you meet the requirements for w11/  Do those processors you listed support VBS?  If not, you are not supported.

Hello @bbutton2,

Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.

As AlHill mentioned, it may be best if you contact Microsoft to let them know.

We have an article regarding this topic, it is aimed for more recent processors, so I think it may be the reason the ones you have shared were not mentioned but they may be capable to work with Windows 11.
