How to use Intel Audio DSP (Cadence HiFi3)

I want to apply the self-developed S/W algorithm to the Audio DSP (Cadence HiFi3) provided by Intel PCH.

However, I cannot find development documents or SDK environment related to Intel Audio DSP.

I already have a Cadence SDK license purchased.

Please let me how to apply and test the S/W algorithm to the Intel Audio DSP.

=============================================================

1. What is the brand and model name of the NUC/laptop/desktop computer that you are using?

=> laptop computer (SAMSUNG Galaxy book 3 pro, Intel Core i7-1360P)

2. Can you provide more details about this project?

=> I belong to Iron Device, an audio fabless company in Korea. To explain in more detail, it is a Korean company that supplies Audio Boost AMP IC. We want to supply audio semiconductor ICs to global markets including Samsung and LG laptop markets in Korea. In order to supply semiconductors to customers, Intel Audio DSP must be used to provide both audio algorithms and SmartPA(Speaker Protection) algorithms.

3. Are you working for a company or is this for personal purposes?

=> This is a company project.

We would like to get help using Audio DSP even if we pay for a project that is very important to us.

Please help me with what to do.

Hi, @CarlosAM_INTEL :

Thank you very much for your reply.

I checked the information you provided.

But we want to use Intel Cadence HiFi3 Audio DSP based on "Microsoft Windows OS".

I understand that all the information you gave me is based on Linux OS.

And I inquired about Cadence first, but I received an answer that Cadence can only provide licenses,

and that Intel directly request and receive the necessary Intel environment SDK.

No matter where I look, I can't find anywhere about how to use the "Windows OS" based Intel Audio DSP.

Please check again.

Best regards,

Gyuhwa.

Hi, @CarlosAM_INTEL :

Thank you for your active help.

I just wrote a post about the use of Intel audio dsp in the Microsoft community you informed me about.

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/how-to-use-intel-audio-dsp-cadence-hifi3/7a8c00a9-a7ec-4323-b3b9-b17c26ac3017

But I don't understand one thing.

In other AP vendors(Mobile) using Cadence hifi3 audio dsp, chipset vendors provide SDK environment.

In other words, it is not provided by Google using Android.

I also heard that other audio ic vendors collaborated with intel(Poland) to apply s/w algorithm to hifi3 audio dsp.

Why is there no document or person in charge at intel audio dsp to guide you clearly?

(Posting on cadence and several intel forums, I'm having a hard time, so I'm leaving a post.)

Best regards,

Gyuhwa.

Hi @CarlosAM_INTEL :

SAMSUNG Galaxy book 2 pro (NT950XED-KC58S)

Galaxy Book2 Pro | Super-Light Laptop | Samsung US

I bought the above mass-produced laptop.

I purchased a laptop with an Intel processor.

We plan to complete the S/W algorithm(located on the Intel Audio DSP) development and provide it to Samsung Electronics.

Best regards,

Gyuhwa.

Hello, @Gyuhwa:

Thanks for your updates.

The Intel® Core™ i5-1240P and Intel® Core™ i7-1360P Processors are not embedded devices, as you may confirm in the following websites and screenshots:

https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/132221/intel-core-i51240p-processor-12m-cache-up-to-4-40-ghz.html

We want to clarify that the non-embedded processor's questions should be addressed through the Processor forum that can be found on the following website:
